Earlier this month, Little Lights enjoyed taking ten of our boys to the Pine Creek resort in Gore, VA for a weekend retreat. This trip was special because it was our return to Pine Creek after a three-year break due to the pandemic.
The boys loved playing basketball, soccer, and tetherball in the fresh air, along with sports activities in the gym. In addition to the physical activities, staff shared spiritual messages around unity, sportsmanship, and teamwork with the boys.
One highlight of the weekend was when the boys enjoyed a campfire and s’mores. We are so glad that we were able to give the boys a chance to get away, make new friends, and get fresh air at Pine Creek!
