Earlier this month, seven high school students and a parent traveled to Fayetteville, North Carolina with four of our staff members to visit Fayetteville State University.

At the school, students explored the campus on a guided tour, attended an information session to learn more about the admissions process, and visited the financial aid office to learn more about paying for college.

The students loved the school and enjoyed the opportunity to bond with other students and staff. Three of the nine graduating seniors in the Next Step College and Career Program have committed to attending Fayetteville State University this fall. We are so proud of Jamiyah, Cassidy, and Tynise!

Visiting the campus energized the students and gave them a vision of what the next chapter of their lives will be like. Little Lights is grateful for the chance to walk alongside these students as they pursue their college dreams and to provide them with the guidance and practical support they need to not only go to college, but thrive there as well.
